that the team was better off with Romo. How would he go about that?
Would he or could he hide that fact from the media til Monday Night?

Whenever he does decide to make the switch, do you think he will/can keep it under wraps til gameday?

He did make up his mind. Bledsoe starts.

Even if he decided to go with Romo I doubt he would try to hide it. Romo will need a public show of support to feel comfortable and Bledsoe deserves more than for his benching to come as a surprise to the media and the fans.

Besides, there is no way to keep it from the team, and if 53 guys know then the media will know.

i think he would exaggerate an injury to Bledsoe like the Henson vs Chicago game.
Remember when Chicago was so bad that we could be them with Henson at QB? What was that....all of about 2 years ago? Now everyone says Chicago is the best team in the league....interesting.

This isn't exactly the stretch of games you want to be starting a green QB in, anyway.

He has already said time and time again, there is no QB controversey, he is not making a QB change. I am not sure if your asking about the future or this week. Just because Romo played in mop up doesn't mean he is the starter. He is grooming him.

Although another Bledsoe/Romo thread is just like a slap in the arse with a wet bull whip....yes I know that feeling.:D

How about please trying to just stick the question the guy had instead of turning this into yet another 15 page agenda fest.

So with that in mind.

I don't think they could hide it. As another poster said if you have the whole team practicing than there are going to be leaks, whether intentional or not, from a player or coach.

True, but I'd think you'd at least try to hide it. Or Parcells would try to shoot it down. I think you can look to the Titans and Vince Young playing against us as an example. You don't give your opponent opportunities to know what you're going to do against them.

Get it through your head...unless we are out of contention or have a comfortable lead in a game Romo is not seeing the field:banghead:

I had looked back at the 1999 Jets situation where Mirer was starting and not doing well. In that case, he said nothing to the media, but just gave Lucas 50% of the snaps and ultimately gave Lucas the start. I don't think he even told Lucas until shortly before game day.

That's what he did before, but I'm not sure that he would get by with that now. However, if he does decide to go with Romo, he might say that he is considering Romo and will play who he feels performs the best in practice. That way he can make the other team prepare for both. But I agree with others, it would be tough to keep it under wraps altogether.

it would be impossible to keep it quite in dallas. the tenn media knew that vince was starting but kept it quite, the dallas media would have to figure a way to say t.o. caused the qb change so no hope of them doing anything to help the team. they are more interested in contriversy then anything else
