Why would you tank a game just so your half dozen draft picks are taken a few notches higher?

What do you think tanking does to the mentality of the 30+ current players that will play for the Cowboys next season? Will this increase the perceived value of winning?

We already know that marketing and sales are more important than winning. Now do we add the draft to that list?

GM is already a part time job to Jerry. Can he care any less? Does he actually have to try to tank a season?

Didn't Jerry already successfully do so even before the season started by refusing to upgrade the O-line and RB squad through free agency?

I don't know, if we have a chance to knock the Eagles out of the top seed or just make their seeding worse, I think I'd enjoy that more (or even knocking the Commanskins out of the playoffs). Of course, I don't expect us to be capable of beating the Eagles this year and would be surprised if we beat Washington again if it rights its ship enough to be in playoff contention, so beating the Giants might be the best we can get.

You realize don't you, that the NYG's intentions are to tank. The released their QB1 and are not fielding their QB2. It's obvious what the NYG are up to.

Looks as if the winners of the NFCS and NFCW will not have as many wins as Philly. One of Detroit, Minnesota or Green Bay will win the NFCN with a better record, probably, than the Eagles. So they’re pretty much the 2 seed barring a collapse.

I agree. Only because I will, after 45 years of being a fam will finally get to go to a Thanksgiving game. My daughter and I will be making the trip for the game. With paper bags just on case they stink the joint up. Lol

There are tanker fans, then there are tanker Cowboys fans.
Both versions do not understand competitive sports.

The difference between the 2. Most fans know when to start tanking. After mathematically eliminated (even though I can't do that). I would still pull for wins, but won't be as upset in a loss once eliminated.

Cowboys tanking fans want to tank to continue to complain about the team. As then they will say, the FO will screw it up.
