If the Packers release Javon Walker would you want him in Dallas?

You better believe it but Packers will trade him before just cutting him and getting nothing for him. I think we should approach them and make an offer maybe we can get him for decent pick (conditional?) because of his knee injury.
 
I don't see them getting rid of him for anything less than a 2d round pick.

Did you read the article I linked to the post? He has stated he would rather retire to get out of his contract or pay them to get out of it. There is so much bad blood between him and Farve and the Packer front office that he will not play for them this season. Given the present situation something is going to give. He will be traded, released or will sit out the season, but he won't be playing for the Packers this season.

Still, they're not going to release him. Seek a trade perhaps but they would never release him.

No chance in Hell that Walker gets released! they will probably at the very least want a 2nd round pick for him and possibly a 1st

I agree that they won't release him but they'll have to trade him, probably for a draft pick. Its going to be a 2nd round pick OBO. Not sure anyone is going to give a 2nd for a malcontent WR coming off major knee surgery. Maybe a 3rd or 4th. I'd give up a 4th or 5th for him. I might even trade Ellis and a 5th or 6th.
 
The guy has had one good season? And then a major injury? I wouldn't want to overpay.
