So if we Don’t pay Dak he will just keep doing commercials, he won’t study, you know like those “Payton Manning Hours,” he will never become Elite..

Or gasp, he won’t even surpass Romo, welp..


We don’t have a #1 pick to use on a QB so unless there’s a good one in the second, gotta wait another year, or two..



So do you lowball him and build up all the Other skill positions, or do you pay him but he stops doing commercials lol

He wins by playing. It keeps those commercial offers coming. Those offers are one of the perks of being a Cowboy.

We could pay him 1yr market value + current salary 1 yr, spread out over the next 2 years between salary and signing bonus.

He gets money he might get in 2020 up front next year, and he keeps starting for the Cowboys for the next 2 years, which helps us and keeps his commercial checks coming in. Win-win.
