If we draft a RB, who?

Mid to high first:
Ashton Jeanty

Late 1 to early 2:
Omarion Hampton
Kaleb Johnson

Round 2-3:
Dylan Sampson
Ollie Gordon
Raheim Sanders
Treveyon Henderson
Nicholas Singleton
Quinshon Judkins

This draft is absolutely loaded. There's others not mentioned. I think at least 10 of the backs in this draft are significant contributors to a committee. 4-5 end up being primary backs.

I've got no problem going with one early like Jeanty or Hampton (my personal favorite back in this draft) but the value is probably in round 3 (or 4 but we threw that away). I think in the third Ollie Gordon or Nic Singleton would be a great pickup.

I really would like to land a Derrick Harmon in round 1 and follow it up with Kaleb Johnson in round 2.

If we miss out on a 1st or 2nd round RB, the latest I would pick would be round 3.
I will be watching Penn St. On Saturday to see Nic Singleton play.
He's everything we would want - on paper. Big, fast, productive with low mileage. Good hands out of the backfired. Is a college return guy.
But, I haven't seen him in a game - so will be watching to see if he matches the hype.

I would hope Hampton makes it to us in the 2nd round.
I bet he goes late 1st though.
Rankings are all over the place after Jeanty. Johnson is usually #2 with Henderson and Hampton flip floping with each other and occasionally some other guy jumping both.

My money is on Johnson being a late first and Hampton the top part of 2nd. However strong running teams doing well this year with talent backs could boost HB stock

There’s a million dudes in this class that can play. Pick the one that fits your scheme in the 3/4 and we’re good.

I haven't seen any rankings or mocks that have Johnson ahead of Hampton. I hope Johnson goes after Jeanty because it makes it more possible for Hampton to fall to the Cowboys.

If they decide to keep Rico, I could see the boys only drafting another RB later

Jethro will thump his chest about it
