Wow so much doom and gloom. The sky isn't falling, it was a good game played to the wire against an underrated and desperate Packers team. It was played in cold weather and we were showing signs of rust after the bye week.
Both the Eagles and Giants are going to drop a few. We have the same record as the Bills. Did y'all really think we were going to be 15-2?
I didn't think we'd go 15-2 but what concerns me is we are 3 games back in our own division. Actually 4 because they have the tie breaker. So unless a major collapse by the Eagles and Giants we are not winning the division. So looking at the wild cards. As of now we have a better record than Tampa Bay and Green Bay but they own the tie breaker due head to head losses.
Now concerning our team. We can't stop the run. Our passing game is inconsistent. We allowed over 200 rushing yards this week and I believe last game. If it's not 200 yards against the Bears it's close to it. Our defense, and team, is trending down. We just lost to an injury riddled team on a 5 game losing streak. Our next opponent is the one loss Vikings and after that we have a short week to play the Giants.
So if we make the playoffs it's very likely we play on the road, but playoffs aren't looking good right now.
