If you like the Lamb pick, you love the Parsons pick

Parsons was BPA in an even bigger way than Lamb. An even higher ceiling.

I honestly see how everyone doesn't love this pick.

I don’t get it either. People like to argue BPA all the time. Now some of the same are arguing position value with Micah. It’s also not hard to believe he was ahead of slater on the cowboys board.

They would have gone CB if one was there.

So either they weren’t going BPA or they lied about where Parsons ranks on their board.

You argue about Jones incompetence all the time and now you can’t believe they wouldn’t draft a Lower rated corner over Parsons?

also it’s entirely possible Parsons is rated higher than Surtain or Horn, but they are very closely graded.

Who said I don’t believe it? My point is neither explanation makes Jerry look good.

And that surprises no one. Jerry hasn’t looked good for about 25 years now.

That doesn’t mean it’s not believable that the scouts viewed Parsons as the best defensive player

I loved the Lamb pick. I have a list of reasons why I don't like the Parsons Project. I'm not going to spoil my night diving into it.

If you are happy...I am happy for you. Maybe I'll be wrong. So...nothing to see here from me...move along.

I'm absolutely ecstatic that he fell to us, and we got an extry third!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Exactly once the coaching cones around to match our drafting talent that Will McClay provides... Dallas will finally win some playoff games! I love the Dallas scouting department!

In truth, I believe a lot of fans don’t really know much about talent evaluation, drafting, etc.

I can understand some being unhappy because they really wanted a corner because it was the biggest need... but I don’t get how anyone could be unhappy with Parsons as the pick.

Micha was probably the highest rated defender in the entire draft, is as fantastic an athlete as there is, and played well in his time at Penn State. The guy is a beast on the front 7 of the defense and adds speed, aggression and talent right where the team needed it.

It makes no football sense to hate the pick. Throw in that Dallas played it cool and actually added a third round pick along with Parsons, and it makes no sense not to be happy with how things worked out.

as for the rating by the team... it was probably Parsons as the highest rated player by a small amount over the two corners, but the team was going to draft CB because of the need there. Once Carolina and Denver took the corners, Dallas did just what it needed to do and got their highest rated player while adding a 3rd.

It’s simple, was a good move and will really help the team. People upset about that are being unreasonable.

This board is full of people who have quit cause "Jerry Jones hasn't won a title in X years." They feel the need to justify their pessimism.

Its positional value...I understand but disagree bc I put Parsons in that exception category.

I think he’s so good you throw it away and take the pick similar to Pitts at 4.
