If you like the Lamb pick, you love the Parsons pick

In truth, I believe a lot of fans don’t really know much about talent evaluation, drafting, etc.

I can understand some being unhappy because they really wanted a corner because it was the biggest need... but I don’t get how anyone could be unhappy with Parsons as the pick.

Micha was probably the highest rated defender in the entire draft, is as fantastic an athlete as there is, and played well in his time at Penn State. The guy is a beast on the front 7 of the defense and adds speed, aggression and talent right where the team needed it.

It makes no football sense to hate the pick. Throw in that Dallas played it cool and actually added a third round pick along with Parsons, and it makes no sense not to be happy with how things worked out.

as for the rating by the team... it was probably Parsons as the highest rated player by a small amount over the two corners, but the team was going to draft CB because of the need there. Once Carolina and Denver took the corners, Dallas did just what it needed to do and got their highest rated player while adding a 3rd.

It’s simple, was a good move and will really help the team. People upset about that are being unreasonable.
100% correct, I think a lot for fans think they are on par with scouts. Heck, I few might be but I believe the vast majority are not even close.

If it wasn't for you and the many others who put in the effort here in the draft room I wouldn't take the time to look at most prospects. I realize I'm only looking at high light tape, but I love the pick. He definitely looks like an alpha to me. Not crazy about the hazing, but I did a lot of stupid things around that age too.

I put my trust into the scouts and hope it works out for the best. Hell, I haven't given up on Hill and cannot wait to see if he makes the jump this years. I think he has a lot of tools.
