I'd really love to see my Dallas Cowboys compete at a high level and run the table thru the NFC. All this talk about who's the top dog right now in the regular season is B.S. The 9ers, the Eagles, Bucs... Who cares?

I want all those team 100% healthy and playing good football. Lets play the games and let the chips fall. We win, great! We lose, then we weren't good enough. Time to get better.

Who said the Texans were gonna be a cake walk and we'd romp? The media. Last I checked, they are a Pro Football team with pride and they generate a kings ransom in revenue for their owner. I live in the Houston area and they are on every weekend.

If You Want To Be The Best... Beat The Best! ...Lets Go Cowboys!

I agree Htown, I don't care about the playoffs if we had to back into it, I want 'em to be there because they earned it!
Like you said, "If You Want To Be The Best... Beat The Best!"

Cowboys have potential.
Key is, can they realize it?

Who wants to be the best? Some posters here are happy with back to back winning seasons or just making the NFC Championship game.

To me it's not about beating the best.
It's beating who's in front of you.
That's what I'm trying to point out. Those teams plus a few others will be obstacles on the road to SB LVII. I say line em up...strap it on and lets play.
Houston was in front of us last weekend. We won, but you couldn't tell from negative press and some fans.
All because of a narrative created by media and odds makers whose interests are not the same as Cowboys fans. What was it? a -17 point spread? Ridiculous...

Beating the best would require Prescot to not only show up in a meaningful game, but to also get off to a fast start too. Which unfortunately he has failed miserably at, Prescot has not been the same person since the middle of last season. He started that season on fire, regardless of the first game loss to Tampa. Prescot looked and played like an all pro, then the second half of the season rolled around and he went MIA BIGTIME! The Boys ended up getting beat by the 9ers in the playoffs and everybody was saying wait until next season...........LOL!!!!!! Prescot's play has been shaky at best, he can't seem to locate open mates to throw to and when he does most of his passes are little 5 to 10 yarders. When he attacks further downfield he throws into major coverages which results in poorly thrown incomplete passes or worse....... interceptions! At this point Prescot's lousy play is starting to affect the defense too, it seems that they don't have the same fire that they had when Rush was under center. Something has to give right now or this season is going to be over real quick. Personally, I'm tired as hell listening to Prescot's lame excuses and how he needs to fix himself..............

I get your point. The picture you painted is all about the QB position. We are a 10-3 football TEAM. I emphasize TEAM. There are 52 other players that need to-- Not drop TD passes, get that crucial defensive stop at the end of the games and stop giving up HUGE pass receptions for TD's, Not fumble punts and practice some discipline when it comes to getting drive stalling/killing penalties.

I heard this last year before the 49er game…foolish pride had us saying this— knowing they were the worst matchup for us.

Sorry but give me the easiest route to the Super Bowl, however that may be.. One game show from there.

After watching this game Prescot still came up Miget short in this game and you're right this team is severally flawed and after you add the two up it's ONE and Done 2.0 in the playoffs. Eagles are flying high this year and only have to get by the 9ers to represent the NFC.
