I totally thought he was a goner, cut...hasta la vista.

But after tonite, how can you cut the guy, he looks great running the ball plus he made a terrific catch in the flats on a high pass. I still think he looks slow to the LOS but that may be because of the contrast between Anthony and the quicksilver movements of Julius...Anyway, I don't see how you can cut the guy after tonite.

If he was a lock and not on the bubble, and Parcells said he wants to see Barber, why was he out there as long as he was?

I think we may be showcasing him for a draft pick.

imo, he's looking much quicker tonight than he has in the previous 3 games....i like him a lot as our back-up RB...plus it gives barber and thompson a little more time to develop.

He looks good, but suspect it has more to do with Jax Def. Looks like they are asleep out there for this last preseason game.

Disagree big time. JJ said it.....you sign a Bledsoe you have to put the pieces around him. No way BP risks the whole season on JJ's durability.

TT's on the bubble.

I would say so Bill Parcells can see if Anthony Thomas can run the gaunlet, when you get tired, etc. Second, I hope he keeps all 4, Julius Jones, Anthony Thomas, Marion Barber, and Tyson Thompson, reason why, that way before trading deadlline end Oct 13th i think, you might can trade Anthony Thomas for a high draft pick, if some teams star running back goes down like Pittsburgh. Then, you still have 3 quality running backs in Julius Jones, Marion Barber=dont give up on this kid, he is lilke 20 or 21, still young a jr. I watched him at Minnesotta games, true he would fumble now and then, but big bill will fix that, then you add in Tyson Thompson, you have 3 top running backs. Plus, like mentioned if some top running back goes down, and trade Anthony Thomas, you might get a # 2 draft pick in a trade, that will help us next year in draft, i think reality, we are one good draft year away from kicking door in beating Philadelphia by passing them, just like we did in 92, with a Number 1, 2-Number 2 picks, and a number 3, we have 4 picks in top 100. Dont forget best i remember we lost our number 4 pick to Philadelphia next year with canty trade for # 4 pick this year.

More likely a 5th or 6th, unless somebody is really in need.

Possible but if he can do the job as backup then there is no reason to cut or trade him. He is doing what he is here for. And I can't believe he doesn't do the intangibles better than Barber or TT.

I don't see a problem with AT, Barber, TT and Polite all making the team. Now if you give me a first day pick for AT then I would think about it assuming Barber and TT can protect the QB and catch the ball. Or trade him for a good OLB that fits our defense.

I love this problem. This is the most RB depth I've seen in many years.

I would love to see us keep 4RBs & Polite......
