I Coached from 1999 to 2009 with the little guys. Wide eyed and every parent thinking their "Little Johnny" would be the next Patrick Mahomes. Ah, good days as I reflect. Anyway, I get the 10-11 year old group this year and we can start conditioning May 21st. I have it circled as it has given me A new focus and purpose.

I have 39 players and that team that's coming up missed the playoffs by one game last year. 6-3.

7-2 and 9-0 went represent our OH west team. I have one old coach talked into putting the time in and have spoken to others that have spent time in the system but, at a higher level so, we shall see.

I Love Saturday mornings and the smell of a freshly Painted field. I don't sleep much going over game plans Friday night but, hey, Can't live forever!

This old man is happy.:)@Ranching want to help bro?

Yes sir. I really appreciate the chance again. I have missed it. About two years ago i brought out my old books just to look at and cried like a baby. I coached when my last son was coming up. I have been to 4 county championships and my teams have managed to win 3. I'm going to do this one last time while i can.

I was lucky enough to coach 4 teams and my son from 5th thru 8th grade.

Memories galore......with each little athlete. Belly laughs to admiration.

They all had something to bring to the table large or small. My enjoyment was figuring out what they brought.

Friendships were made and young men were shaped......to a degree. ;)

Fond memories...... forever.

No one can take those Saturdays away from us. Ever. Win or lose.

Champions......every one of them.

Kudos to you. Nothing more noble than helping young boys on their way to manhood. Good luck and Gods speed. Just watch your back from some of those crazy parents. Love to hear some stories.

Need more youth football (outside of Texas; joking bc you guys breath football) bc it feels the numbers are dropping around the rest of the country like with boxing in the 90s.

Seriously cool on you to get back into it and like mentioned, those coaches stick with you even as you get older. Helps build character and gives direction to younger boys.

I'm a old school coach and a bit much sometimes for these newer "Participation Award" parents. I stay on the kids alot but, I never let them leave me without something positive to take away.
