I've been angry most of the offseason and entering the season for the way Jerry handled the personnel. That said, I'm proud of the team, especially after tonight. I don't care what some of you may say. I'm proud of the Cowboys! This was the kind of games a few years ago under Garrett or in 2020 that we'd lose. We had every excuse in the world to lose this game. This was the kind of game that would've been ruled a morale victory considering we held a high quality opponent to 17 points while we were in the road. We went toe to toe against a high quality opponent. We were without one of our key WRs and two of our biggest pass rushers entering the game. We were down another one most of the game. Yet, they found a way to win!! On fourth down, the team (Dak included) came through in the clutch!

I've been particularly angry about our run defence and rushing attack most of the offseason and most of the season so far. They were EXCELLENT tonight! That kind of rushing attack and run stopping against a high quality rushing attack can carry us far! Against a team like Pittsburgh, we would've been shredded in the run. We held them to 93 yards!! On the ground! Oh, and despite still no Bland, we had someone starting in that spot who was on the practice squad! And we shut down the Steelers offense and held them to 17!!

We ran the ball well! We controlled the clock! Gotta clean up the turnovers, but this is the kind of game the team can look back on and say we found a way to win this game. This was against a team I was highly worried about entering the season. Fun fact btw, Dak has never lost to the Steelers.

Well done Cowboys! Well done!

And frankly, I'd say a lot of the negative stuff that happened is just Steelers football. Flukey stuff happens when the Steelers are involved. It's always huge to come away with a win against them, especially at their stadium.

This is why you don't give up after week 4. Things can change and change fast. We are running a brand new defense with no preseason time. Dak and CD had no training camp together. They were obviously going to get better as the year went on.

And I'm excited to see where we go from here.

The simultaneous glaze and cope on this board today is hilarious. Shows how starved this franchise is of actual success.

What do you mean by that? Am I not supposed to be proud of seeing the Cowboys win a game that I can hardly remember them doing in such a manner? And against the Steelers of all teams?

You do you brother. I’m happy that you’re happy. It’s just funny watching how sentiments change after a win. Fans are eternally hopeful as they should be. I’m just not a fan anymore..I’m a critic.

I don't think they are a particulary good team and I expect sort of average results this year, but give them credit. They competed last night and played hard, physical football. Playing a limited offense may have played an impact on that, but I think we were all waiting for a defense that was physical and limited the easy plays. They did that last night. Especially short handed. Winning games when you are short handed is something every team needs to do if they want to be a playoff team. Dallas did it last night. Now, lets see if this was a one off or if it has staying power.

Oh, I've been much more critical of them than normal of lately, but this was a game we would never win in the last 5-6 years or longer. We can build on this.

Changing your mind in the face of changing data is the correct response. Digging into a belief despite evidence to the contrary is just ego.

I also think you can be proud of the team and effort without actually buying into the ultimate success of the season.

I have a long ways to go if I'm gonna believe in these guys come playoff time. This game just kept hope alive.

I am as well, they stepped up and they gave 60 minutes!! That is encouraging and to me a positive in the right direction, these types of games are always something to building on.
