Isn't an NFL broadcaster. He pretty much fits the part; and I thought that it was said that that's what he wanted to do.

Does any one know if this is still a possibility that his broadcasting career may pan out?

I wonder about Woodson sometimes....

Does anyone know what he is doing, post-NFL?

He is the greatest Cowboy ever.

Not the glamorous, "skilled position player" ... but the epitome of a what the star stands for, IMO.

I dedicate this thread as a tribute to Woodson (the greatest Cowboy ever).

Perhaps this could even instigate a "where are they now" of sorts ...

Here's to you, Woody.

Yeah, I was serious. The one year that I don't have cable...

It's good to hear though.

lmao, he's been there for like 2 years

You know, I actually know this. As hard as that may be to believe, I really did. I guess the cableless football season has made me delusional.

Well the important thing was the spirit of the thread, and yes, Darren Woodson stood for all that was right about the Cowboys. I would love to see him working with the team again in some capacity.

Like Allan Jackson said, It 5 O CLOCK SOMEWHERE!

I catch Woodson on and off on the radio. Has anyone heard Woodson talk about Roy Williams lately? I wonder what he says about Roy's covering skills (or lack of). That would be awesome if Woodson called him out, but I doubt it since they seem pretty close.

I remember watching Woodson doing some of his first broadcasting experience during the NFL Europe coverage. Honestly, I wasn't impressed... he was either really nervous or just had a problem with stuttering.

Maybe the fact that his analyst job isn't an impromptu speaking job but he is rather able to prepare what he says ahead of time...

He probably could be good and I honestly don't know why he isn't a broadcaster other than pure speculation... I wouldn't mind seeing him and Moose teaming up on FOX and getting rid of freaking Stockton and Siragusa.
