Two teams go at it, passing and running up and down the field for sixty minutes,
Showing off their athletic abilities and getting the fans fired up as the momentum shifts,
With both teams scoring but unable to pull away from the opponent,
And at the last second one team scores the winning touchdown or kicks the winning field goal, giving sixty full minutes of entertainment that keeps audiences glued to their seats/televisions/computers,
Driving up the price of tickets and commercials,
And 80 percent of the games go this way,
With wins/losses carefully orchestrated so as to keep teams in playoff contention as long as possible,
Giving the gambling bookies more opportunities to present to gullible fans and making the billionaires behind the NFL even richer,
Does this make sense?
Kinda like Profesional boxing and pro wrestling.
Ever wonder why so many games are going down to the last seconds nowadays- even between 3-11 and 10-4 teams?
