Numerous Dallas fans, on this board, are so tired of fellow Cowboys fans saying the same thing over and over again. THE PROBLEM WITH THE COWBOYS IS WHO IS RUNNING THE SHIP/GM. When this team can't even get to a single NFC title game in 27-28 years and the only constant of this pathetic drought is the captain of this sunk'in ship.
And every season, the marketing genius of the ship laying on the bottom of the ocean, keeps selling "hope" to the passengers banging on the walls of that ship to be lead out of the water tight room.

Once again, the money tight ship owner watches Jalen Ramsey go to the Miami Dolphins for a 3rd Rd pick and a TE that has ONE CATCH for 6 yards last year. This is a MAJOR area of NEED for the sunk' in ship that was bring in CB off the street to fill a hole. Like last season, the captain traded away a WR1 and wanted to replace that hole with a WR that caught ONE pass : James Washington.

Never fear because the ship that is loaded with barnacles and seed weed is always NUMBER 1 in Forbes Magazine for being the RICHEST Sports Franchise every year. That is the TRUE SUPERBOWL for the skipper.

Now--Jack Sparrow, attack the post b/c that what pirates do

I don't have a problem not trading for Ramsey, when you look at his numbers from last year, 65% reception rate for receivers he was covering, not good numbers for the money he's making or a new contract he wants........
Understand but when this team couldn't find a CB 2 @ the Goodwill Store for weeks and when one of the better CB signs for a bologna sandwich, it is another classic example how this franchise continues their mirage of a SB chances

Never winning another super bowl with Jerry.
We can't even get to a NFCCG.
He just does not have the ability as GM.

Getting or improving at CB2, with a strong draft class, is not the hill to die upon.

I honestly don't think the Cowboys could've gotten Ramsey for that deal.

I think owners only talk to Jerry when they know they can fleece him. The Dolphins were clearly not fleeced on this deal. So, Jerry probably didn't even speak to the Rams.

Did you read any details of the trade? I mean, besides the 3rd rounder and a TE? You do realize Ramsey isn't playing for free right? Perhaps you should read the details concerning the money involved. That's a really expensive Bologna sandwich.

Takes 2 to tango. Maybe the Rams were only interested in dealing with the Dolphins. I don't know Ramsey's contract details, but did he have a no trade clause and would only waive it for the dolphins? It's not as simple as saying Jerry *** this up.

Yeah, that key detail was totally overlooked in this off-base rant.

I'm already sick and tired of the Cowboys. I don't have any hopes they will get anywhere this year. This is because of Jerry and Capboy calling al the shots. They have ruined this team beyond repair.

No to OBJ and Ramsey for me. They are the perfect picture of "let me get this last big check." Not the players you should be seeking at all.
Except Ramsey didn’t sign any new contract. Nice effort though

Who is more insane?

Jerry Jones for not reaching any championship playoff game after 27 years and counting, or the constantly complaining fans who still keep watching Jerry's product?

Signing Ramsey would’ve been stupid salary wise. You can’t allocate that much money into the CB position.

Again, the Cowboys will never go to the Super Bowl while Jerry is running the show. Jerry only cares about getting rich off ticket and merch sales. Cowboy fans keep feeding the beast so why should Jerry do anything different. This is a mediocre team with an average QB and very little promise at this time. Sorry for the pessimism, but that is reality.

True, Jerry and his boy dont even talk to a lot of players , or other FO in many situations.
I think you have to look at way more than they do, and at least make an offer, and see what happens.

Same thing for interviewing coaches, I would interview prospects for HC every year, just to talk to them and
see what they would do with my team, get to know the guy, pick their brain, you dont have to hire him.
Doing it only when your have or are going to fire your hc is kinda stupid, interview prospects every year.

As for FA, I would meet with all the top FA, for same reasons, get to know them, pick their brain, see if they are type of player you might want.
See if you could get them at decent price , and do they want to win or are just after the money.

Jones boys never talked to brady, and rodgers, and either one could have got cowboys to a SB, not guaranteed, but way better chance
with either one of those than with dak.

But all this would be more work and time than the jones boys want to do. They only spend X amount of time actually studying players and coaches.
They use the cliff notes approach lol, where as Jimmy used to read the whole book.

The jones boys are part time FO,using cliff notes, and think like fans. and that is why they fail.

They drafted Lamb purely because they liked him in college as fans, and gave it no analysis or further thought.
It was just oh there is lamb, let get him!! And at the time they needed other positions, not a wr or slot guy.
