1. Jones pulled himself out of last weeks game after being subbed out in a few packages. Never returned.
2. Can freelance at times, but at the same time has a knack for forcing turnovers. FF and INTs.
3. Hard hitter. Vocal leader
4. Is 30, so any deal better not have too much guarantees.
5. Gase seems to dump guys over "culture" quickly.
6. Our SS talent sucks.
7. Jones could of voided his guaranteed money for next year, therefore making his release easy to swallow.
8. Miami had TJ McDonald and Fitzpatrick at safety, so, they could move on if they want to.

Burke put cornerback Bobby McCain on the bench for the first two drives, T.J. McDonald on the bench in the third drive and Jones on the bench in the fourth drive. Jones was the only one who didn't return after being taken out.
Miami head coach Adam Gase said he's not planning to suspend Jones and that Jones will play Sunday at the Green Bay Packers. Gase also said any discipline will be kept internal and warned outsiders not to rush to judgment on Jones because they don't know all the facts.
