Heck no. We got no reason to jump the shark with him. This would be similar to what we did with Jaylon smith or Gallup. Make him show us he can live up to the hype and stay healthy . I have no problem paying to keep him and over pay next off season. Let him bet on himself. Its a win win

Its a contract year and he will miraculously play all 17 games.

Jerry will not see this as an anomaly.....sign him.....and see the injuries resume after the contract is signed.

Correct. Players never get injured during contract years, and ball out.

This is one of those weird situations…..

Do you wait to see if he can stay healthy which as a result he will cost more.

Or do you pay him now and get him on a cheaper deal? I say do it now.

Number one ability is availability. I don't see him staying healthy. Love the talent, but I'd pass on him or frame a deal that is very cap friendly.
