At first, I thought it was a strange article. But there are many interesting snippets in there. Some may not agree with some of the stuff in the article but there is a lot to discuss. Well worth reading in my opinion.

1) "It’s not necessarily that Prescott didn’t play well. Hitting on over 80% of your passes is really good, especially when the average pass travels seven yards past the line of scrimmage as it did for Prescott."

2) "In Week 1, Prescott averaged 2.39 seconds to throw. Against the Chargers, 2.49 seconds. But against the Eagles? Dak had an average of 2.85 seconds to throw."

3) "Through the first two weeks, Prescott was being pressured on just 13.2% of dropbacks, fourth-lowest in the league. After factoring in the Eagles game, his pressure rate now stands at 18%. That’s still the fourth-lowest figure."

4) "Dak held onto the ball too long, took bad sacks, and handed six points to the other team... And yet? The Cowboys still won. Not only did they win, but they steamrolled the Eagles."

5) "Dak Prescott had his worst game of the year, and this offense still couldn’t be stopped."

Dak was great against the Bucs and the Eagles.

He just just okay vs. the Chargers.

Chargers have a decent defense and will be better as the season progress. Bucs and Eagles have awful defense which is why Dak did better against those two teams.

Derwin James is back and that was his 2nd game in a long time. Though the Chargers did lose Perryman, Hayward, and Engram to other teams. This isn't even the best Chargers defense but Stanley is an elite DC.

Thats a given. Even the most miniscule negative comment is going to result in hell getting unleashed.

All good coaches will tell you that it is best to criticize after a win and build up after a loss. Don't let the players get high on themselves or low on themselves.

He was horrific Monday night. He handed the opponent a touchdown being an idiot holding the ball too long. Does the same thing later in the game and takes another bad sack to show he isn't learning anything. Even audibled on that play thinking he can read a defense. Under throws Lamb for a walk in touchdown that turns into 1st and goal at the 1. Fails to extend the football on the 4th and goal quarterback sneak at the goal line until his progress is stopped, costing another touchdown. Then misses a wide open Lamb waving his arms in the end zone 10 yards away from him only to be bailed out by Cedrick Wilson.

Lowest RSR in the league.

At some point you have to pull the plug on this experiment.

This article was nothing more than click bait. The title is misleading, but thats what he wanted.

The message was not that he played poorly, it was that out of the 3 games this year, this one wasn't as good as the other two. Which is actually an amazing compliment considering his statistics.

Tampa doesnt have a bad defense. Pass defense is bad. Run defense has been #1 in the NFL over the last 2 years. Same defense that held Mahomes to 9 points in the SB.

Mahomes is getting known as a crybaby. I said it for a while. He’ll Mary’s are only going to bail you out for so long. I think he’s the most overrated quarterback in history. Romo tried to put the chargers quarterback in the Hall of Fame before the game even started. The media is crying for another lover boy Aaron Rodgers

I don’t think he handed the defense anything. What happened in that short Spand. It was a lot. It was wrong from the beginning. And on the second play you’re talking about. We’re up by two scores why make a mistake go down. Where is Carson shouldn’t you be somewhere else. Enjoy the game tomorrow

When I'm talking about Dak and other team defense, I'm mostly talking about pass defense. Tampa has some injuries so they aren't quite the same as the SB defense. Their defense is decent but got hot at the right time. Still only Tom Brady can throw 3 picks in the NFCCG and make it to the superbowl. That dude has his own lucky charm.

when it comes right down to it he DID hand the Eagles a TD with that fumble. If you cannot take any criticism of your god then find another to worship.
And I guess you really could look at it that way. But in reality no that’s not what happened. Tyron Smith was pushed back into him . But anyway you look at it it didn’t matter

and here is exhibit A of someone that cannot take any criticism at all of his god.

The article was a compliment. Sundays win has Dak being talked about around the league as ELITE status.

Ill take 80% completion percentage with 3 TD's and no picks. All day baby!!!!! :yourock:

Imagine they’re hoping we lose against Carolina. I don’t know if that’s true. But if you hate the guy somewhere in the back your mind you want him to prove you right. What a depressing way to watch

Panthers shouldn't be a real test for him, both CMC and Horn is out. Cowboys should blow out the Panthers. Dak real test will be on November 3rd.

Any time Brady has won a SB he had great players around him. Typically a good defense. Last year was no different.

100%. The nonsense about one of his blockers getting pushed back into him doesn't fly. You know the situation. You're in your own end zone. You don't hold onto the ball that long. He did and it cost his team 7 points.

Mahomes can't read defense which is why he got destroyed in the SB. Mobile quarterbacks tend to rely on their ability to scramble which offset their inability to read defense. For example, does anyone here think Lamar Jackson can read a defense?

Mahomes get on my nerve so much, he the Stephon Curry of the NFL. Dak has the right attitude and is humble.
