read the above link. Its long but if you were a fan of the show it is worth it.

it does all the leg work on everything that final scene represented.

And the 3rd part gives a great explanation on a lot of the symbolism of the coma-dreams and other plot points.

I swear I almost got a little teared up reading it.
 
That was way too long but awesome just the same!

I thought he read a little TOO much into some of the supposed symbolism, but by and large thought he was spot on.

After reading that and Chase's interviews it's almost certain that he's killed at the end.

I wasn't wild about the final season, but I did think it was a good final episode at the time.

I think I'm going to watch the last half of the last season again.

I think the ending was pretty darn brilliant. Aside from the effect of causing all sorts of discussion, it spared fans (of a crime boss, murderer :confused: ) from having to watch him truly lose/die. I laughed when I saw it.
