I am hearing more and more than OTs and CBs are going to fly off the board in this draft. This mock draft reflects that thinking.

The good news is the Cowboys get a blue chip OT, Penei Sewell, who can move inside or move to RT and let Collins go back to LG. But if CBs go fast the Cowboys may have to trade up in round 2 to get a guy who can come in and start. That will cost them #99 potentially.

I don't think anyone would be unhappy if the Cowboys wind up with Sewell, but I will be pretty unsatisfied if they do not come out of this draft with a CB who can beat out Lewis or Brown.

If they are targeting Surtain, a move up to 7 should be getting less and less surprising to people. Whether you like the move or not

Two things with this article:

1. I don't have a lot of respect for LaConfora's reporting at this point. I feel that he's burned some bridges and been essentially 'frozen out' of any insider information he once had.
2. It wouldn't break me up if the Cowboys drafted Sewell if the draft did unfold the way he projects.

IMO Horn shouldn't be in play at 10. He just doesn't warrant that high a grade. Sewell would definitely be BPA.

That would be my night mare that both corners are gone but if Sewell is there, your right, he should be the pick no matter what.

I don't really understand how when Farley slipped because of the surgery, Horn all of a sudden came into play at 10. If he wasn't a top-10 prospect when Farley was available, he shouldn't be now.

It is one exec telling him this not a general manager. I trust Broaddus gang of 7 more because those guys are real gms. I could see two corners getting picked in the top 9 but no offensive tackles? I doubt that. The draft can’t start soon enough.
