Yeah, really is best in the draft.

Early on in the draft process I wasn’t very high on Njigba, but after watching him a lot and seeing his numbers from the combine, I quickly saw that he’s WR1 in this draft.

Boy was I wrong. His hands and movement skills are very good.

The 40 time is as expected but that 10 yard split is brutal.

I’d take Flowers over him 10 times out of 10. Addison too.

I can only see that on a few select teams that treat their slot as their #1 (Rams, and historically speaking, the Pats).

The number I was impressed with was his 3 cone that is supposed to measure change of direction and for WRs the ability to separate out of the break.. WRs don't run it as much anymore but despite a slow 40 time (4.62 seconds) I thought it was Cooper Kupp's best measurable at 6.75 seconds. Jaxon's was 6.57 seconds

The guy has elite change of direction skills and size to match. How anyone can look at this crop of WR in this draft and say that there are better options than Smith-Njigba is beyond me. He's a no brainer selection if he's available at 26. I doubt he gets out of the top 15.

I like Smith-Njigba dont love the guy though. Seems like a limited ceiling, but with that comes a pretty high floor. If I had to put money on it I would say he ends up being a very nice #2 receiver, but lacks the physical traits to be a legitimate #1 target. Is that worth a 1st round pick? Very much up for debate. If I'm the Cowboys at 26 it's extremely hard to pass up.

I think someone falls in love with JSN in the top 20 as there is a really good argument he's the top WR in this class, but to be honest i think the best case situation for his career is to fall a little bit to a team with an established QB and WR1. I don't think he is a Tyreek Hill or Jamar Chase type who dramatically changes your offense, and is more likely the guy who gives you really solid production for 5 years, but you're torn internally as to if you should give him a 2nd contract or not.

No one in this class are those 2 guys. But JSN is really good. Best in the class IMO. He’s going to be a heck of a player.
