Yup, He is the nephew of Danny White and a local boy (Mesa). He played at BYU. They said Hall reminds them of Warner (Older, Mature, overly religious so no off the field issues)

I was surprised that Whisenhunt is going with him as a back-up. That is plain stupid...

Heard that during the game last night. I was pretty surprised. I heard a lot of good things about this kid while he was at BYU. I hope he wins the job eventually.

Why is it stupid? Do they have anyone else? There are not many good QBs sitting out there ready to be signed. It is not as if Leinart is a good option.

I listened to Whisenhunt's comments about Leinart. He tried to say all the right things, but what came out of it is that Leinart does not work hard enough to be a back up. I don't think Leinart works hard enough to be a starter and being a back up takes a different kind of mind set. You have to be ready for a game with very few practice snaps. That means you have to do more film work and study. Leinart would be a terrible back up.
