If you want to measure how good a team is, look at how bad they can be.

Dallas has lost 3 games by a total of 12 points and no game by more then 6pts

Compare that to:

Washington = 45 total points and 36 points
NY Giants = 28 points and 22 points
Eagles = WOW!!! 61 points and 28 points.

Knowing that, which team would you pick to win the division??

GO DALLAS!!

I posted the 12 points stuff a while back....nobody cared.

Everyone was just pissed we lost another close game at that time.

Did you also know that our defense has given up just 13 points or less in the last 4 games?

I know...who cares right?

Hey, wait a minute...

I posted 10 points before not 12.

Loss 13-14 Deadskins = 1
Loss 13-19 Raidas = 6
loss 10-13 Seahags = 3

Yep, very impressive stat.

Statistics are overrated but i think this one is legit.

...they reveal mistakes if read correctly.

In the Washington game they gave 14 points to the Bucs on turnovers.

In the Giants game it cost them 7 points, but they were taken out of Viking territory three times with two possesions inside the 10. Once again points lost and points given.

The conclusion is simple and one that Parcells has harped on since coming to Dallas. Superior teams lose when the turnover ratio is not in their favour. It doesn't matter how well you dominate the game statistically you can't lose in that stat column or you find yourself losing the game.

stats are overrated, I dont care what we've done before, it's what we do WHEN IT COUNTS that makes the biggest difference.......with the amount of young guys we have in key positions, it could be a toss up from game to game......I do like the stat, and possibly it makes much more sense than most others, but it is week 9 and theres a lot of football left!!
