Interior OL help

Some "names" still available:

Dalton Risner - could come in and immediately give you some of the same level of play as #66, and not in a good way.
David Edwards - injury concerns, coming off a down year. Might be worth a flyer.
Justin Pugh - old and injured, don't see the point.
Connor McGovern (Jets) - Could start at center or LG. It would be pretty hilarious if Dallas signed him for less than the other McGovern, who isn't nearly as good.

Affordable OL depth in FA and a first-round interior offensive lineman draft pick are on my wishlist.
This board would be pretty entertaining for a while if the first pick ends up being for a certain geriatric center from Minnesota.

Anyone that's injured we'd have a contract ready in minutes, let me get a pen!

The "other" Connor McGovern can play center as well, so he'd be a nice add as the three-spot backup on gamedays.

Since the Colts are rebuilding why not go for the best? Quenton Nelson. Big salary. Mybe have the Colts Pay part similar to what the Texans did with Cooks.

Needs ranked:

1. NT
2. OLB
3. OG/C
4. RB
5. TE

I think there’s a good chance we sign an OLB before the draft. NT in round 1 is the direction I’d try to go. Pickup depth at other positions in rounds 2-5.

Except NT rest can be addressed in draft, if they sign Fowler for a team friendly deal. OG/C if a good backup is a available without breaking bank , can be looked at.

I seriously doubt the Cowboys are done adding pieces before the draft. It's still a few weeks off.
I agree
They always sign a few guys even after the draft and during the season sometimes. We aren’t done but we might be done signing starter quality. At this point they are looking for steals
There will also be a few guys cut after the draft when a team gets a guy they think can replace a more expensive guy

Cowboys are really high on Farniok taking McGovern's place so I doubt they sign a vet backup.

Just don’t see us getting some blue chip stud DT at 26. A blue chip guard? Very likely. Perfect spot for one.

The nice thing is unlike other years, there's not huge holes at the positions of need. DT is probably the one position where a rookie or outside acquisition has a good chance to start. The rest are positions we can use another guy for depth and competition.

I think round 1 goes to OG, LB, or RB. Purely because that's where there are needs and it's a point in the 1st round where those positions and dB tend to offer the best value.

Siaka is a Blue chip Stud DT and Avila is a stud OG. If we can nab both this def could be a beast draft.

:lmao::lmao::lmao::laugh::lmao:

please stop with the farniok nonsense. Are you making that up?
Not sure if they're locked-in on Farniok taking McGovern's place, but they have spoken favorably of him.

Plenty of members on this favored Farniok's play vs. McGovern's on a previous thread. I didn't see it that way, but others did.

The day we are on here talking about how amazed we are that XXX DT was just traded for / drafted / signed, is the day you will know things have truly changed...hoping it's this year
