I just wanted to know if there was anyone on this forum that got an iPhone 4 and regretted getting one?

My iPhone 4 has arrived and I have until Saturday evening to decide if I want it, I just haven't had time to research all the issues/perceived issues with the phone.

The person I spoke too a while back at Radio Shack said you need to buy a case or you will have issues with the antennae.

Have one and love it. Did not notice any antenna issues before getting a case. You have until Sept 30th to get a free case from apple though. Download the app, select the one you want and it will arrive in a few weeks.

When you back your iPhone up in iTunes, does it automatically backup your Address Book?

Also, once I plug the new iPhone into the PC, won't it try to overwrite the previous phone's settings in iTunes?

Backup will backup everything, address book, txt messages, apps, music, all of it.

No, it will not try to overwrite the settings. You may get an error about the PC not being authorized or something like that i regards to music, but it's not going to mess with the phone itself

The only problem with any iPhone is AT&T.

Otherwise they are great

:laugh2: 100% agreed. AT&T is so so so bad.

Still loving mine.

I did have antennae issues as far as the bars dropping down when you put your fingers on the strip but in practice, I don't think I had any problems with it. Which is not to say I haven't dropped calls, because I have, but more than likely that's AT&T's fault.

For a while my phone was bull dozing through the battery life, by the time I got home every night it'd be in the red.

Never really figured out why but it's back to normal now.

Do you have a Google account - i.e. gmail?

You can set iTunes to sync with your contacts in Google. This way, anything happens you can always sync with Google. You can also sync your google calendars that way.

Check out macforums for tips.

I got the iPhone 4 late yesterday, so I haven't had much time to play around with it. My initial thoughts is that it is not much different then the iPhone 3GS. I expected the processor to be quite a bit faster and I don't is. Right now, I still think the Sprint HTC EVO is the best touchscreen out there, I just don't feel like switching carriers right now.

Thanks to everyone that provided info.
