I ask this because recently I had trouble with my internet at home. Cable ISP. And since I use wifi at home for my phone and the wife uses it for Ipad we were having trouble.
Ever few days or so and it would last a day and a half at most at a time...our internet would go down.
Called the cable company and the guy came out and put a new wire from the pole to the house for the modem. It seems the line was just old and needed replaced. Have not had any trouble since.
