Wonder what impact cancelling Danny Rand's series will have on The Defenders? I was hoping that series would increase the bond Danny and Luke share just as they do in the comics.
They need to do that with some more of their shows, some are really lame.
They could still include him in the Defenders series, and maybe just include the more important aspects of his history in that. But what about Colleen? She's the Iron Fist now. I'd be more interested in the series with her playing the role.
Colleen is an Iron Fist. She is not the Iron Fist. The closing seconds of Season 2 pretty much affirmed Danny not only possesses the Dragon Chi but has learned a lot more about its power. He remains the Iron Fist.
It seemed to me that Danny became something else, using guns instead of his fists, and that Colleen became the Iron Fist. I'm not saying you're wrong, because this series is the only knowledge of the characters that I have, and the different colors assigned to the characters' powers could definitely be representative of parts of the dragon's chi's spectrum. I like your idea for The Defenders. Seems natural for them to include both as double Fists also. Hope so. They should let Colleen show out.
Remember Colleen channeling chi through her sword at the end? Same thing occurred with Danny, except with guns and that he finally taught himself to channel his chi through both hands. The difference in chi color is a good point though. Davos' chi was a darkish red hue. Danny's chi is yellow. Colleen's chi is white.
