Two brothers are playing in the league in the same season, both on offense. One brother is on a winning team playing meaningful games in December, and the other isn't. Can you guess which one is having happier, more successful fortunes?

Is it perpetual All-Pro Christian playing for one of the best teams of the decade...or his unknown brother Luke playing for one of the sorriest teams of recent times?

LOL

Well, Christian may have played his last game for the 49ers.......he's due $8m guaranteed 4/1/2025. They already have a younger and cheaper option on the roster. I think he gets released after the season

Christian McCaffrey potentially out for season with PCL injury

I'm seeing that he is a 22M dead cap if they cut him after this season. Or a 9M cap hit if they keep him.

Do you think he's a keeper?
It doesn't matter if he doesn't play a single game all season. I choose 9M against the cap over 22M. Especially if they're not saving much in real money either. Even in 2026. If he's not washed up, you still keep him. He's not costing that much. They're not saving much by cutting him. If he's not the same player, you release him after 2025.
