The lightning may be a little funky... I had to use the paintbrush.

How did you make the bevel on the type?

And excuuuuuse me, hand made lightning...the old fashioned way...with a brush...well done.

I got the bevel on the type by selecting the type layer, then I double-clicked on it in the 'layer' box to pull up a box that had all the effects you can add to type on it. After putting 'outer glow' and some other stuff on, I checked the box that said 'level and emboss' I don't recall whether I checked contour,texture, or both so you can experiment with that part. Hope that made sense, I don't know how to make those boxes that you guys use for tutorials, but I hope my explanation helped.
