Is Ceedee being away actually a good thing?

Have all made nice plays in camp with the opportunities and continuity they're building with Dak. Not saying anything bad about Lamb and his holdout, but how good is this to see these guys making plays out there??? I hope it lets us know if something were to happen with Lamb, we have some guys that can make plays for us, unlike the debacle we had several seasons ago where we started off the season with WR's not many teams would want!! Please give your thoughts

As long as he is here for the regular season, I’m ok with him not doing training camp. The offense is the same and he’s not risking injury. His holdout could be a wink and a nod between JJ and the agent.
I’d say the same about Parsons but this is a new defense

Whatever works for him, I just hope he is working on his anger and mental game when all goes bad out the gate of a game.

It certainly is a good thing. They don't need Lamb now and he can stay healthy. He can come in next week and be fine.

For now it is a good thing. But at some point he needs to return. Maybe 2-3 weeks before Cleveland. Being in shape and being in football shape are 2 different things. Especially those testy hammies.

It is a great thing he isnt in camp. Im dying for Turpin to get a chance. I dont care he made his mark in another league, he made catches that were awesome, and we all know when he has the ball in the open field he is explosive..... so yea, Lamb being out is a good thing IMO.

Yes, CeeDee being away is a good thing... for him. He isn't risking his healthy being away.

It's a good thing for the young WRs, Tolbert, Turp, and Brooks get more 1st team reps. I just want CeeDee in camp soon because I don't want him to get a soft tissue injury because he's not acclimated to the pads and real football.

Just his speed alone to keep the defense honest!!!

That's the biggest fear right there

Players that miss training camp either take weeks into the regular season to get up to speed or get injured. CeeDee sitting out hurts him and the team.

Yes. Billy Johnson might be one of those guys that is a late bloomer that just needed the opportunity and fit. The guy is balling, as if the light suddenly came on for him. It bears watching.

They should just roll with those guys and take the lamb $ and buy some defensive players.
Plus, they would have some extra draft picks in 25 to get more players. (via a lamb trade)

I have a picture of a pass going right thru lambs hands but am too lazy to post it.

The work these other receivers are getting with Dak is crucial. Especially for cooks, Turpin, as they are smaller and Dak or any QB has to adjust how they throw the ball, ball placement etc. throwing to a guy who can out muscle, out jump, out reach, and use his body to block defenders is way easier than someone who is smaller or the same size as defenders. I'm hoping these guys can really take some pressure off CD from having to do everything all the time. Lord knows the run game might not help much.

First team All Pros should be exempt from training camp until two weeks prior to the opening game. The slight increase in execution is not worth the risk of injury in my opinion.

Nothing good about CeeDee being out of camp...............NOTHING! I can see it now when the 2024 season starts, CeeDee is hurt on the first offense play with a bad hamstring pull that will nag him the entire 2024 season. CeeDee needs to be in camp working hard to keep his body in shape for the long haul.........................

true , but............fish said elliot is getting all the first string snaps, and is treated like he is the #1 guy and the rest are scrubs..
I guess maybe they get some work in PS games.

I was just taking receivers but I gathered from the way Stephen talked about Zeke he was inserted as the #1 RB. I'm guessing because all the things he does well that maybe guys like Rico are just not at the same level like blocking and receiving.
