Pff seems to think so!

Lawrence is widely regarded as an excellent player, but he doesn’t get the full recognition he deserves because his high pressure totals haven't resulted in the usual number of sacks.

League-wide, around 15% of pressures convert into sacks, but that number has been just 12.3% for Lawrence over the past three years, and 11.1% in 2021. Generally, there is little in the way of a “skill” in finishing pressures and getting to the quarterback. Rather, that data point is more heavily driven by variance and other factors. Effectively, Lawrence has been unlucky when it comes to sacks over the past few seasons, but before that, he had back-to-back years with 13 or more sacks. His lowest PFF grade in the past five seasons is 86.2.

As I say, one guy breaking free cannot get a sack. The QB will just run away from that one guy. So that guy has to have help trapping the QB or he has to be extremely fast.
"Cannot"? That's 100% false. Is it more difficult in that scenario, yes I'd agree with that

Judging by most peoples comments when it comes to "who are the dogs on this team", I'd say Zack Martin is clearly our most underrated player.

He's great, but still underrated and forgotten by most.
100 pct. Martin gets respect but he is actually better than that. Guy has been a dominant player his entire career. He actually is an all time great Cowboy.

Seeing that list of "dogs" have Dak, Zeke, Tank on it but not Martin was just gross.

I don’t think you can site a sample size of 3 years and say it’s unlucky. That’s called a trend

But Lawrence is a very good player, he just never really lived up to the contract…which will always cause fans to dislike the player

D Law has certainly not been underrated by the front office looking at what they have paid him!

Does a lot of things that go under the radar.
But at his salary we need sacks too.
