Is DeMarcus Ware getting any love for his performance Saturday?

I watched NFL Primetime and I didn't see a single Ware highlight. The man had 3 sacks, 3 forced fumbles and almost 10 tackles, leading the team with all 3 categories. What does a brother gots ta do to get some love from the media? I know Julius had a great day too, but c'mon, the press was all over Ware after that Seattle preseason game, and he showed the same stuff on Saturday.

Primetime didn't say anything, and neither did Sportscenter.

The only Ware highlight they had was the one where Smith recovered the fumble and got ejected.

They didn't even show it in the stat line, nor did they even mention he had 3 sacks and 3 FF.

I was wondering the same thing myself, and was actually coming here to make a post about it.

I think some of the play calling by the refs whether good or bad is taking away from the youngstas performance.

Anybody know when the last time a Cowboy had 3 sacks in a game and who it was?

That bites. But oh well just look at this way. Ware is gonna be so good they will be forced to give it up for him alot. One thing that bothers me more then their not covering Ware is how many fans in here were so quick to quit on Ware and say how we shoulda taken Merriman instead. Some of us never fell for that one cuz we know we got the best one in Ware.

I hate to be showin but I have been right about every player I have not given up on. T-New Brady James and now Ware.

2 other players on that list I have for this year are Torrin Tucker and Rob Pettiti.

I think Tucker will come around and be a big surprise next year. But I am not sure about Pettiti. If Pettiti doesnt come around then I am no longer perfect on these picks.

someone made a post about it yesterday, said last time a Cowboy did that was the Manster

Not only is Ware and basically the Cowboys as a whole not getting any love from ESPN's Sportcenter, but on the NFL Network, my brother said that he was listening to Rick Eisen give out props to the top RB's of the day.

Julius was top dog stat-wise when Rick Eisen listed the 3 RB's. Julius Jones, Ricky Williams, and Cadillac Williams. Eisen went on and on about both Williams, not even mentioning a word on Julius, then immediately went on to discuss the top WR's for the day.

Yeah, I know we all bi*** and moan about not getting any love, but I'm sorry, when it's obvious that a team or a player(s) from the Cowboys has a stellar day against a good opponent and is not getting any coverage, then it's just blatant and obvious hate.

Pretty pathetic if you ask me.

Charles Haley got 4 sacks on opening day of the 1994 season. We played the Steelers on the road and won 29-9 or 26-9 I believe. The amazing part is, he got all of them in the 1st quarter!

I've never forgotten it.

Naturally, he was double-teamed the rest of the game. :)

yeah, sorry, Ware is the 1st rookie to record 3 sacks in a game for a Cowboy since Randy White did it way back when
