I’ve been a fan since 94 and I don’t think I’ve ever been more disappointed in this team.

It's coming, JJ is likely doing his best not to make a purely emotional decision.

JJ's Team is already making calls behind the scenes, so he can let McCarthy and/or Quinn go, and then already have his next coach(es) set up...even though it may not get announced for a bit.

They're stuck with Dak, he has too much cap leverage. Quinn and McCarthy have no such leverage. I'd be shocked if both are here next year, hec, next month!

i think you nailed it. MM stays put for Dak's sake. Quinn is gone. If he doesn't get a head coaching gig, then he needs to be fired. I was so high on this guy. But then you see how his defense played... cardinals, bills, packers games are examples . Totally unprepared and flat.

MM for Dak's sake??? MM came out and tried to do something that the Cowboys have had little, consistent success with all season long...they tried to pound the rock. And the person in discussions regarding being an MVP who led the league in TDs, he tried to "contain him" in a home playoff game. He was overly committed to the run, running on 2nd and long many times. ?????

So instead of playing to win, that whole first quarter, both sides of the ball played "not to lose". Bad schemes, bad game planning.

That's on MM, as the HC and OC. He needs to go.

Dak is the QB, no leverage to get rid of him. Unless Trey is the answer, but JJ's too old to take that risk right now. He's riding with Dak, and he's going to try to find him an OC to support him. Hec, he may find a defensive-minded HC, which may be worth it, matched with a young OC to maximize Dak's skillset.

So, Jerry can now console MM and shift his focus on finding a new DC. He will congratulate the staff on a fine year as he settles in for a nice vacation.

The defense's poor play and the interest in Quinn around the league makes it easy on Jerry. Do nothing and Quinn is gone. Seems like the most likely scenario.

Hate to break the news to you bro, but Fat Mike aint going anywhere.

Quinn is going to take a DC job so he will be an easy scapegoat.

Oh, and our QB that cant read zone defense after 8 yrs in the league is going to get a $50 mill a year extension.
