Is it coaching or not?

Simply, how different would the 90's Cowboy history be if the current coaches had been in charge? Would Emmitt have gotten the carries? Would Michael have been the force he was? What about Troy? And the biggest question, would they have the hardware?
By contrast, what could the current team accomplish with early 90's coaches in charge? Do we really have the talent in place to return to the top of the NFL mountain?

Emmitt would be remembered as just another guy if he had the ginger calling his plays back then.

Wades gonna end up paying the bill but I say execution. Had the same problems with Parcels.

Considering the same thing happens year after year with different players, I'd say YES.

Only if you also include Jerry Jones as a Coach.

Different players, different coaches, different offensive or defensive schemes...same results same front office.

Just something to consider.

The ones in the early 90's?

What has remained the same since our last Superbowl? The front office.

The players have changed, the coaches have changed, the offensive and defensive systems have changed, the scouting directors have changed. The only thing that has not changed...the front office.

I'm sorry. But if you have the same problems and out come year after year , You have to look for the common denominator.

We lost today because Eli escaped a sack somehow and Barber fumbled the ball and opened the flood gates.

If you wanna blame the last 10 years on someone then go ahead and lay it on Jerry.

But we lost today because of our players. Coaching definetely wasn't the difference between us winning and losing today.

I wish it was but it wasn't.

Coughlin had his team ready when their backs were against the wall.
He made changes that sparked his team to come together and do what they had to. They had some thing to prove, so did we but Phillips doesn't know what buttons to push, never has.
Phillips was completely out coached again.

Sorry but I didn't see it.

I saw a miracle play and a Barber fumble get them back in the game. Not because Coughlin waived some pom pom.

Wade and everybody under the sun knows what we have to do. What was Wade going to do or say that could've changed a damn thing?

This team gets it instilled in them 24/7 this time of year on what they need to do but yet they still go out and play dumb as hell.

Wade cant change it. Its on the players and its time to stop their stupid BS.

Barber fumbles.
Folk misses a makeable field goal.
Romo misses a wide open TD pass to Roy Williams.
Special teams give up a big play.
MANY missed tackles.

The players lost this game. Not game planning. Not play calling.

I'm not a huge Wade fan, but I'm not throwing him under the bus for this loss either.

We do have stupid, undisciplined, weak-minded players that come up small when the pressure is on. However, it's ultimately the coaching staff's job to coach those types up or weed them out. Ours does neither. Jerry Jones gets his share of blame as well. He keeps sticking his nose in football business and he hires these jokes.

Neither am I, but I will admit Phillips doesn't know how to fix the problems.
The Giants played far far from perfect today, some of the same mistakes the Cowboys made, yet they won.

Yep, thats all he can live on. I guess Al Davis must be saying the same thing. How is that working out for Raiders now?

Nobody is going to fix it but the players themselves.

Its being instilled in them from the time they leave Valley Ranch until the time they go home @ night.

And if they pick up a newspaper they can read about it there too.

Its obvious to everyone what needs to happen and they just cant seem to not **** it up.

Than you must think these players are scared of repercussions from the coaching staff, I don't think they are.
Coughlin made personnel changes before today, subtle as they were he did SOME THING. Phillips just awww shucks this team to death. He has every where he's been. There's no fear of stupidity on this team. Again the Giants over came their mistakes.
