blocker, or is taken to the ground; or
(i) if, during a defensive charge, a defensive player uses a “rip” technique that puts an offensive player in a position

I noticed that yesterday too however, I noticed it early (not sure exactly when) which made me think has he ripped it himself for the tough guy look?

Most edge rushers jerseys are.

They wear them completely skin tight on purpose so there's nothing to grab, so just simple stretching and bumping into people does that.

I like to wear my athletic slim fit dress shirts at the office super tight, to give my female coworkers a little pep in their day.....and sometimes they rip just from elbowing coworkers after a knock-knock joke.
