Is Mike bold enough to start TY?

Play the best guy. Gallup is good in the red zone at times. He makes a highlight catch at times. 4ir 5 highlight catches a year isn’t enough. We need our number two to change the way they play defense. Ty can with his deep speed.

Ha! I just came to the same conclusion in another thread.

I think Gallup has improved. I'm getting to like him as a possession receiver. Maybe he's still a better WR. But given the players we have, Ty's speed adds more to a run/pass down, and they should both be out there with CD on a clear pass down.

Gallup may be better, but the offense is better playing Ty on run/pass downs.

But I like T.Y. better at this time.

Seems like he should be taking Noah Brown's snaps, but I feel bad for Noah, but Hilton has more experience and better hands.

Hilton deserves more and more plays, lets get Zeke off the field unless it's 3rd and 1 or goaline.

There have been several posters on here calling for speed at wide receiver. With Hilton, Jerry can see what speed can do and set out to get us some long term speed next year. Instead of a one year rental.

I think his role as the third down guy works for us. I don't know how much wear and tear his body can take. I would feel way better having him continue in the role he is in now.

Truth be told, Gallup isn’t better than a t y at his best. The only question was, did he lose his speed at 33? It likes like he’s still faster than Gallup and lamb even if he’s not quite 4.36 anymore. Lambs worst route is the go route. He’s ascended as a player , but still can’t run the go route. That’s where t y comes in.

Sounds good.
Hope the coaches feel the same.

T.Y. definitely adds a little something different. I think part of it is his reputation. NO matter how they use him and Gallup, I think having Hilton helps Gallup & Lamb (and the TEs if they can hang on to the ball).

He ran simple routes well and gave Dak a fairly big target from what I saw. That's all we could ask for

I'm pleasantly surprised with TY. Thought he was done.

The bunch of clutch conversions shows that some chemistry between Dak and him is growing fast.
