Read somewhere they gave up an NFL low 14 sacks so far. Quite impressive considering I was upset when La'El was let go and they were forced to start a rookie at LT (with no preseason reps).

If Tyron comes back at LT and Tyler Smith moves to LG, the Cowboys actually upgraded the left side in a major way.

Consider this: Jason Peters can adequately back up both LT and LG.

We need to give Joe Philbin his flowers. He's done a great job this year.

A guy I was down on last year Biadasz I have to say I'm happy with his play this season. Guy has only had 3 penalties on the season and doing much better about not getting pushed back and been a big part of this running game

When he has 70 on his right and 73 on his left, 3rd and 1 just got a bit easier for Zeke and TP.

But yeah, even before then Tyler Biadasz has played well this year.

It's good and will get better, of the 5 players Who've started all season, 4 are still on an upward curve, only Zach has peaked (and He shows no sign of slipping).

not the only stat i saw Philly and even the lions embarrass our OL in pass protections' , I dont see them as the best , they are one of the top run blockers but still too many breakdowns and penalty's at times in pass blocking.

much improved over last year for sure but still not the best,
BTW who cares about the rankings and stats,,.just come to play each week, do what's necessary to win!!

No, not the best… but a good one that is getting better and better. Mostly young guys who are still growing, learning, and gelling as a unit.

It isn’t great news for the teams on the back end of Dallas’ schedule that they’re still getting better.

Philbin catches a lot of (undeserved) flak, but he’s doing a damn good job.

Steele is quite an upgrade over Collins. I like Steele and thought it was better to let go of Collins’ contract for a guy that was just as good and a lot cheaper… but Steele is a significant improvement over Collins. Mentally better too.

Biadasz is much improved. He’s better now than I ever thought he’d be, and still likely has a good bit of room for improvement.

Martin is Martin. One of the very best physically, mentally and technique wise. The vet of the group. The only OL that isn’t young and still learning.

Tyler Smith looks like he’s going to be a dominant player. He’s just scratching the surface of what he can do when he’s got the technique down and has learned for a while… yet he’s already really good and is bullying defensive linemen. Just one of those guys that is country strong, huge and likes to physically dominate his opponent. Nasty attitude and really smart. Probably already the best OL from this draft, IMO. Maybe second to Linderbaum at this point, but if Smith hasn’t passed him yet, he will soon.

McGovern has been a pleasant surprise. Playing better than I thought he could. He’s still young and with little play time prior to this season, he’s still learning and growing. Along with Smith, he makes the left side of the line really strong.

Overall, I’m really happy with where the line is and I’m looking forward to continued improvement heading towards the latter part of the season and into the playoffs. They’re going to become a problem for defenses.

I think it is because our QBs don't hold onto the ball to try long passes down the field. We seem to throw a lot of quick passes.

I was really down on the offensive line earlier this year. McGovern and Farniok were both poor in pass blocking and it clearly bothers Dak to have pressure coming from inside like that. McGovern has improved enough to get the job done lately. It would be ideal if Tyron can come back and play at a high level to allow Tyler to go to left guard. I have a hard time believing Tyron can come back from his injury though. Fingers crossed. The line could be epic if that happens.

Far from it actually. Top 10 run blocking but below average in pass pro. A week or so ago they had the worst pass block win rate in football and pff had them in the bottom 3rd. Believe they were also bottom 10 in QB hurries and knockdowns last time I looked.

Sacks are a piece of it, but one small piece of a larger puzzle as they are partially QB dependent.

Not even the best in our own division. Maybe if Tyron comes back though

Teams like the Bears, Ravens, Giants, and Eagles probably have sack totals inflated to some degree because of their running QB's. If they try to pass, then take off and run and get caught before they get to the LOS, more often than not it is counted as a sack. It depends on who is doing the stats for the game. If the QB clearly was running a designed run or never looked to pass then runs, and is caught behind the line, it is no sack.
