is there a 4 team playoff this year in college football?

I thought they changed it to the 4 team playoff this year in college football. I was pretty sure they did. But I was reading a few things yesterday that were still making it sound like it would just be the top 2 teams playing in the BCS National Championship this year. Does anybody know?

It implements in 2014. I am not sure if that means 2014 REGULAR season or 2014 BOWL season. I'm thinking it is at the beginning of the 2014 regular season. So two (1.5) more years of this BCS garbage

Well that makes this season that much more interesting. I may be the only one but I like the current way the BCS championship works. It will be interesting to see what happens if some teams can remain undefeated, like K State, Notre Dame, Louisville.
