Is there any doubt who the 1st round pick will be?

Even though there are many holes to fill, there‘s no doubt that we are going to take Jeanty if he’s there. We are going to pound the ball, or at least try to. Not my first choice as I see Jeanty being washed up by the end of his rookie contract. OTOH, I wouldn’t be counting on Dark Prescott either with those gimp legs of his. I just hate wasting 1st rounders on RBs.

There is a chance Jeanty could be the pick. But there are several players who could be. 3 months before the draft it's impossible to say for sure it will be one specific player or another. One could make the case both for and against going RB at 12. Is there any doubt who will be the 1st round pick? Yes there is.

Odds are he will be long gone.

Maybe. I personally don’t see the value in drafting a RB that high, but I don’t see the Cowboys walking away from the opportunity to draft a Schotty offense and fulfill a Jerry fantasy of drafting 2016 Zeke all over again.

I think Ben Johnson now with the Bears will take him, they did draft Gibbs high two years ago and he was a huge impact player.

It depends on if Jeanty is there or not but let’s just say with this cluster of the offseason I can’t see the Cowboys passing on this top jersey sale player.

I think there is a good chance that Jeanty is the pick and they better hit big time. If they don't get him, I think that Hampton is the next choice at 44 followed by Johnson and Henderson. I personally would take Jeanty at 12.

Gibbs went high and I coveted him so I’m sure I get my bubble burst and we miss him as well. Probably go with UT OT or something……BORING

1a) Ashton Jeanty - Fits the Schottenheimer scheme perfectly. Gives us an elite back to pair with Lamb as elite players.

1b) Tyler Warren - Don’t sleep on this pick. Warren is a plus blocker, a great TE. Not quite on the Brock Bowers pass catching, but a great TE. Would upgrade our TE room, improve our run blocking and improve our red zone game with Ferguson regressing.

If Jeantry is gone they'll say we like our guys. Maybe they bring Zeke back for another goaround. Lol

Those are 2 good choices.

i hate to be that guy, but the RB class is deep we need to get a DE or all around good DT in round 1 if we have the chance. ALSO tackles are light this year. so better to take a thinner position 1st and dig in to the depth later. I think we can get a comparable rb in round 3 - 7. i also think we will take several RB as well.

if it was me i take DT / DE Round 1. Go OT/OG/WR round 2. RB/WR/LB/CB round 3. always take BPA on the board. but you have to look at our needs draft depth and player rankings. Remember if you look at those redraft sites, you can see that every DRAFT Expert gets it wrong guys that were 2nd rounders are now 1st rounders guarantied home run future all of famers are drafted way later and busts. Look at Mazi everyone thought he was going to be lights out not just our people but across the board and he sucks.

He would wear a lot of hats ......I remember Garrett saying Witten was the only player on the team that knew the responsibilities of every offensive player other than Romo.
