I would stay away from it. The 120 Hz rate is awful. Plasma's have the highest refresh rates overall that I know of.

If your going to spend around 1K, there are much better TV's out there to choose from IMO.

You can get an LG 60" Plasma with a 600 refresh rate for $798 - $898 now, depending on where you shop. I got one last year and love the TV. Great picture.

Brandsmart and HHGregg advertise them for $798 in my area.

Not a good deal

With 1K, you can buy a decent Samsung, Sony or LG

I would never pay that much for a Visio. Visio is not a top brand. Stick with Samsung or LG.

I got this same TV on Black Friday for $688.

As far as the 240mhz model suggest. That's overkill at this point. You really won't be able to tell the difference.

Stay away from Plasma TVs.

Vizio is in fact a top brand. They make good TVs. I have a 37 inch Vizio LCD that i've had about 5 years. Never a problem with it.

That said, I would not pay $1000 for it. Like I said, I got it for $688 on Black Friday at Walmart.

Great TV , not the best price. The smart tv functionality is pretty awesome and the quality is above average. I think vizios are premium tvs and are on the same level as lg.

Good TV and the price is actually right. It's a large LED, hence the price. A plasma of the same size would obviously be cheaper. Nothing wrong with the brand either. They may not have the cache, but Vizio moves a lot of units.
