Then that is indictment of Romo. He may be the best quarterback on the roster but Dallas needs to get him some competition in training camp.

Those '98, '99 and '03 versions weren't much to write home about. This year's bunch fits right in with the mix.

Certainly right up there with the team that got beat by the Cards in the playoffs or the team that was shutout by the Rams in the mid 80's.

But a pretty sorry lot none-the-less.

The point is that this team is the worst in terms of the ratio of quality to potential. None of the teams listed above had the free agent acquisitions and high round draft picks still in their prime (if too young) that this team does.
