We have been getting owned in the Playoffs here lately. Better yet We havent won a Playoff game since 96 I believe.

THis is sad..So much talent yet so little production when it matters.

So put up or shut up...Can we do it or what? This year We better win a freaking Playoff game at the very least:mad: .

Hopefully this year Our running gam doesnt fade over the stretch. Felix JOnes will help out alot. Also the Qb play has to stay consistant. Romo was playing a little off later on in the season. Stay focused Romo, leave JEssica at home.

And the defense!!..Oh man, just step up when it matters. Way to many soft players and coaching on this Defensive side...I wont get into names but hopefully WE get things on the right track with pac man and Jenkins. And Hoefully Somebody addresses the issue of Roy Williams.

Get'r Done ******...I'm tired of looking forward to next season every single year. I'm down in shambles for like 2 months after every playoff loss. My body is getting weak:D

That's my rant..Flame away;)

Barring injury to key offensive personnel, I think this team is primed for post season success. The greatest question mark is how well the defense will perform at the end of the season given that there are so many new coaches on that side of the ball.

We CAN do it and Should have done it last year. Whether we will or not depends on the guts some of these players are willing to show. They've established a pattern of choking in Dec. and Jan. At times it looks like they just don't care. They've got out played and out coached at the end of every year. It's getting disgusting.

If they can show they WANT it more than the other team then, yes, they will win a playoff game this year. Talent is not the question, and hasn't been for a few years. This year we've even improved the talent over last year's team IMHO. It all boils down to how bad they want it, and can they execute under pressure. It's hard to break that "can't win the big game" curse when you've got as deep into it as we have.

We have to keep the pedal to the metal all year. No more December swoons. We have to carry momentum into the playoffs.

If we're sputtering into the playoffs, expect another first round knock out.

That would suck beans.

What do owned mean?

2007 - We lost at home to the eventual SB Champs in a game that came down to the very last play?

2006 - We went to Seattle and lost to a higher ranked opponent in the games closing minutes, in part because of a freak play?

2003 - We lost at Carolina, again, to a higher ranked opponent and with a team that clearly had been overachieving to even get there.

1999 - we lost to the Vikes at their place.

1998 - lost to the Cards, at home. Yuck! Ok, maybe that qualifies as "owned" although it certainly has no relevance to this current team.

The only relevance from the above info, IMO, is the losses in 2006 & 2007, both by a whisker.

Do I think this team is ready to get over the hump? Yes, I do. But who we end up with at WR in that next playoff game is going to have some influence on whether or not our results in 2008 will be any different. Am I predicting doom & gloom? Of course not. But realistically you have to be concerned about our WR corps at this point.

We need TO healthy at a minimum which is somewhat risky at his age despite the best of conditioning.

Without a healthy TO we may have to play ball control with Marion/Felix/Witten/Crayton and rely on that improving defense. That could certainly work, but I'd sure like the explosive offense to go with it.

With the additions we've made in our only weaker areas (CB and RB), returning all starters except the two where we'll actually be better, having a year's experience under the new staff, and the added experience of our younger players, I have to say I'll be disappointed with anything less than a Super Bowl WIN this season. Not an appearance, a win!!!!!

Not to be a wet blanket, but I think it's way too early to expect so much already. Look at the Saints or Bears from the last couple of years... They *should* have progressed, but they didn't. You never know what can happen in this league, especially as far as injuries go. You can even just have bad chemistry, bad luck, whatever.

I still think we're going to have some tough times early in the year. People will be panicking and wanting to fire all the players -- especially Romo -- but we'll do better late in the year and advance in the playoffs, a lot like the Chargers did this year.

I haven't paid much attention to the Saints, but the Bears had signs of a let up. The O-Line was getting old, and they created so many TO's the season before it wasn't realistic to think that would happen again. A couple injuries got them yea, but injuries are apart of the game for everyone. The Dallas O-line isn't aging and was dominate in pass blocking and have the capability to do so in run blocking. Throw in IMO the two biggest weaknesses on this team (CB,Return man) have been massively upgraded. You'd like to think we'd get to see Wades D in full force this year with all the pieces in place. I'm ready for training camp already.

We're a gimpy TO away from another sorry season.

Without TO, we couldn't even score a TD in the regular season.

We have a few vital parts to this team ... TO and Romo are not replaceable if injured.

Well yea, but every team in the league has players that cannot be replaced. How do you think the Colts would fare without Peyton Manning? The Pats without Brady? The Commanders without........, well, the Chargers without LT?

There are 32 teams hoping to get over the hump.

31 will be disappointed.

we better break the streak of no playoff wins this year

I am sorry... maybe I am too greedy... maybe I am being unreasonable... but just breaking the streak is not enough for me.

I want a SB run that ends with the Lombardi.

One playoff win or two will do VERY LITTLE for me. Maybe its just me but that is how I feel about THIS team.
