I did open my eyes and saw the same running back as the last 3 years. What did you see that makes you think 2016 Zeke is back instead of the 2017-2019 version.

He looked fast and powerful. The one time he ran out of bounds I wish he’d have cut it back for another 10 easy.

Why must Zeke be the RB from 2016. He has still produced all 4 years. Just not the overly high expectations of most fans.
Zeke was one of the few players that stood out playing hard Sunday night. He was running hard and running well.
He had 2 TD’s and had a 3rd one called back from a cheap penalty call. Though I think that happened on the same drive, or did they get a FG from that recalled TV.

It was one game, and he ran hard.
But hey, go ahead and deny everything as nothing will change your biased opinion. I am not trying to convince you, as I know it does not matter.
So I am done with this. Believe what you will.

I used to say that about Murray. He always ran out of bounds seeming to leave yards on the field. But in 2014 he actually did take those yards. But still ran out of bounds a few times.

I see many RBs do that. Sometimes it just happens. As we see the angles from above.

Far different perspective on the field with 250 to 300 pound men coming at you at a fast speed and your vision may be blocked as to that cut back. You need to make a decision fast.

And agree he did look faster and with power. Also had a few moves in there making cuts on the inside runs.

Zeke looked good! He wasnt as slim as when he was drafted but he looked in better shape than the last few seasons. I think adding Pollard into the mix helps Zeke too. But man what a game he had. 99 yards on 22 carries and 31 yards receiving.

I get that is it one game. Look at the context of the thread wondering if Zeke is back. He had a good game. He has always been good. So are you trying to say he hasn’t been good in the past and he is back to being good?

No I am saying he was not as bad as many of his detractors make him out to be, over the past 3 years.
But he looked sharp in game 1.
Has he had bad games, yes, all players do. He just has not been as bad overall as many make him out to have been. So he has nothing to "be back' from IMO.

Will see what happens in the Falcons game.
