Is Zimm or Harris the interim Head Coach when McCarthy is fired?

Everyone assumes it’s Jerry’s Boy Zimm but the defense hasn’t exactly done wonders this year either and Harris was named Asst Coach to keep him from bailing with DQ. (I bet he regrets that!)

Unless a miraculous turnaround happens next week, I believe Jerry will cut the cord somewhere. He did it to Wade Phillips in his lame duck year. Garrett didn’t lose the team like this his last contract year and stayed to the end.

Only other option would be something like Campo’s last year where news was already leaking before the season was over about Jerry flying Parcells around. Maybe something like that if Jerry goes for a splash signing again?

WR's are running wide open all over the field, our safeties play flat-footed, our entire secondary take horrible angles, our secondary looks confused all the time....... I could go on and on.

I agree that the lack of pressure doesn't help, but WR's are running around with nobody within 5 yards of them on a regular basis. How many times have we seen broken coverages?

True....but that would be on Zimm's scheme too. This roster is not good enough to compete and I do question some of the CB's heart & fight. Al Harris in Washington next year.

Harris should be the guy. He doesn’t coordinate anything and can concentrate on motivating. They need a young spark that is relatable. It won’t happen though.
