You knew it would only be a matter of time before those short passes / quick releases would get figured out once a team had film. Put a stop to that and the run game and we were toast. It's all about execution and we just did not execute well. Receivers were not getting any separation. Every time Dak threw the ball, a defender was right there on the receiver.
I believe it will be different this week. Hopefully MM learned something this past week. One more thing...the Cards played a stinkin good game. Those boys were hitting on all cylinders.
They weren't getting open because they were playing max coverage with 2 deep safety's and only needed 4-man line to impact the qb and the rush it created the penalty's etc etc you oh realize this all circles back to missing three offensive Pro Bowl lineman in one game. It literally enabled the defense to play the way they played..
