Romo made mistakes, too, you know. Owens can have 70 good plays, drop one pass and get blasted for having a terrible game. Roy can have 55 good plays, commit one penalty and get blasted for having a terrible game. Their mistakes are magnified, and their good plays often are minimized, because of the positions they play. Romo can make a handful of bad throws and poor decisions, but as long as they don't result in turnovers, they're easily forgotten. But that doesn't mean they weren't mistakes.
TO dropping the pass and Roy committing the penalty are much bigger mistakes than these "mistakes" Romo made... those were critical plays.

I am in this boat also...
I am SICK of these FELONEOUS losses...
I mean I can take a loss but when you go from going for the game winning FG to losing the game on the same play!!..!!
That makes for a tuff B-Day for me (today 11/6) and a tuffer week waiting for the game next week...

Overthrowing Glenn on what could have been a 49-yard TD pass was critical, too.

The point is that lots of players made mistakes, including Romo. But some mistakes are more magnified than others.

are you serious? If we were give Romo's number BEFORE the game AND you throw in TOs 2 drops (I say that because these were not tough catches in traffic, those throws were what WRs dream about)...you would say Cowboys in a landslide. I just hope this kid is the real deal and his glass slipper does not come off. Because yesterday was the first game he was blitzed over and over again AND he did not panic or make any crucial mistakes

Too many mistakes, penalties, dropped balls. If was a team effort on the loss.

This comment pretty much sums up why this team can't get to the next level. I see it happen game after game. Until it does I foresee 8-8 and no better. It's too bad because I think Parcells is done after this year if we are home for the playoffs and I won't blame him for saying he's had enough. He's 65 years old. Does he really need to watch this team self-destruct week after week?
