Watching all the games over the weekend, you saw almost every favorite team struggle, which tells us there is real parody in this league, anything thing can happen in single elimination football! Just find a way to win tonight and advance. Thoughts about the weekend games:

-Seattle was hanging in there, until Bosa had that sack/fumble. Game was much closer then the score would indicate. They did poke the bear when they made that dirty play twisting the ankle of Samuel.

-Jax/Chargers game was similar to our loss a few weeks ago. You cannot lose a 27 point lead period. All the Chargers needed was to make 1 play and they just couldn't do it, kind of like us in regulation against them. Give Jax credit, but also the Chargers deserve a lot of the blame.

-It looked like Buffalo was on it's way to a blowout victory, then they started to making mistakes that allowed Miami a chance to beat them. You cannot turn the football over against any team, even a 3rd string backup. They are very fortunate that this sloppy play didn't bite them.

-Thought the Giant/Viking game was a coin flip. Both were similar teams throughout the year, winning many close football games. Vikings Defense and their inability to stop anything was the story of the game. Giant offense did whatever they wanted and it looked like they were surprised to see Jones running the football. I hate to hear from all the Giant fans this week, but let's see what they do against a real defense next week.

-Crazy ending to the Cincy/Baltimore game. I don't think I have seen that ever. The hail mary also was pretty close. Baltimore had to be kicking themselves after the game as it is one they should of won.

Agree. After all the talking it will likely come down to a few key plays tonight. Fingers crossed.

You’re definitely right about the teams being so close. I will say it was an awesome weekend of football. Very stressful even though I didn’t have a horse in any of those, although I wanted Minny to win. The blunders, clock mgmt, etc made me think Mike is better than most people think.

And you’re right. Just find a way to win. Don’t need any style points.

Tonights game will be another nail biter for us. We just can't simply go out and win. Unless we play like the game in Minnesota earlier in the season.

By simply winning, I don't mean a blow out type game. But they just can't get like 10 to 14 point lead, then sit on it or maintain it.
Like being up that much, and yes, maybe give up a FG, but then go on a long drive using clock, and at least get the FG back or better a TD.

You nailed it when you said: 'You cannot turn the football over against any team...'

I have a feeling are stars will come to play. I expect big games from Dak, Pollard, and CeeDee on offense. The offensive line going to kick butt. I expect Diggs to have a contract game, Parsons and DLaw to cause havoc. I expect a Cowboys/Minnesota game type of performance from our team.

Yeah every game seemed to follow a similar script.

What is considered " favorite " team ? Cannot help but wonder if Lamar Jackson was healthy .. would Bengals be outta playoffs for sure.

Chargers large deficit meltdown resembled Bills/Oilers some decades ago... Expect Chargers to contact Sean Payton to get it going

Whether barely loss or a blowout , i expect some changes in coordinators should we lose to the Bucs.

Couple of thoughts:

-Bills should of never been in a tight game against a 3rd string QB with only minimum starts. They had almost no yardage on offense, but yet they were in the game late, due to the Bills own mistakes. That usually gets you beat.
-Agree, Chargers need a shakeup, a loaded roster, yet always seem to come up short, excellent landing spot for Payton.
-You would think Jackson would of beat them, but he was a terrible 4th quarter QB this season, think his days are done with Baltimore.
-Yes, if we lose, we can expect changes, maybe even with MM. Win today, he is safe, but lose, all bets are off.
-Hearing so much chatter from Giant fans here today, give them credit for beating the Vikings, but now is the big step up in competition.

Except Dak throws ints on our side of the 50
ok how about NOW! like i said stop the ridiculousness. Dak played near perfect game..i said IF he has an OL, and type of run game he is great,, stop blaming Dak for all the issues that caused those INTs this year lots of tips, grabs, pushes, and wrs not catching the ball and tipping it to other players.. half his ints were not on him.

How is my stating a fact ridiculousness? If you look at the Ints that were on Dak, they were on our side of the 50, and put thebother team in a good position forbpoints. Yes, I agree Dak played nearly perfect last night, and yes I agree that many of Dak's Ints were the fault of the WRs? And for the record I am a Dak fan.
