It's Great Seeing Demarcus Lawrence on a Good Defense

If you watch the sounds from the sidelines, Tank gets these guys fired up before the game. And he talks smack going into the game because he knows his team can back it up.

On top of that, he's quietly having maybe his best season of his career, even if he isn't leading the league in sacks. He's done so much more in terms of team plays that really make me smile that he's been here for so long, and we haven't ever lost faith. And here he is, playing with this team, and they all feed off of each other, and of course Parsons.

Part of the reason Cooper was allowed to walk, if we're being real about it, was because we wanted to sign Tank for the future and maintain some of our other key players while adding newer, cheaper talent.

But it's nice to see how the Cowboys stuck with Lawrence and built a team around an older player.

At one point last year I would have put Tank as #2 on the Zoner Hit List right after Jaylon. Silence this year.

Looks like LVE is now the ‘preferred defensive whipping boy of choice.’
Dak is number 1 and it is not close.:eek::oops::eek::oops:

Was Jerry drinking when he told you this?

I find it hard to like him, to be honest. Between the Hot Boyz crap and talk about wanting to take a QB's soul, he's turned me off with a lot of cringe.

But he's a good player. At times, a very good player.

They are a good defense, but I wouldn't call them great as of yet. They still have the one little problem they need to fix.

Right.

The LVE stuff just makes me laugh.

In the last several years I think Tank is arguably the most under-appreciated Cowboy on the roster.

When healthy dude has been a stud.

Our defense has allowed the fewest points in the entire NFC. Clearly dominant. This is what separates us from the pack.
