It's the Cowboys, why shouldn't Cousins turn in a career day?

Such as ...
2 TDs
300 yards passing
80 QBR
What's your guess?

Keep in mind, our pass defence is pathetic.

he probably will. they will rush for at least 200....as soon as atlanta has a little success, watch, this team will go rouge. they will abandon their assignments. they will play hero ball, with each player doing their own thing and it will be ugly

Has cousins ever beat dallas?
doesn't matter, he will Sunday at 1pm, he will hand it off to Robinson, and he will find OPEN players running around because of the COMMITMENT to the run, and having an ACTUAL NFL RB. A guy like Pitts who hasn't had a stellar NFL career at this point, will have an ALL-Star game, he'll have at least 193 yards, a long with Robinson having 100+ yards!!!

The only reason he will not turn in a career day is because the Falcons are going to run all over the Cowboys and Cousins won't have to throw the ball for most of the 2nd half.
Well that's a good point too, the one QB we played I think it was Carr didn't pass the ball that much lol because they ran the ball so well. So Cousins just needs to make the throws the WIDE open throws, guys need to catch the ball, and they'll be fine!!!!

The odds are high that Kirk will light us up this time. Kirk's pocket will be clean all day. But, if it's not Kirk.....there's a buffet of others that will.

May he will, but counterpoint:

The 5-3 Falcons have given up more points than theyve scored. Theyre a similar caliber team to Dallas

I will not reply to you with a caffeine joke for an entire month if Kyle Pitts gets 93 receiving yards. Not saying he is not capable but I do not see him doing that against even the Cowboys' defense.

On the other hand, I can somewhat see Drake London making mincemeat out of the secondary. Kirk Cousins tends to stick with a hot receiver, so I can see Pitts targets decreasing between the 20s if that happens.

That said, it would not surprise me if Pitts is targeted enough to haul in two touchdowns within the red zone. That may not happen as well but I have greater faith in that possibility than Pitts getting 193 or even 93 receiving yards.

At least if Cousins goes airborne there is always the chance for a tipped ball, a sack (ha!) or interception. If he sticks to the ground, it will be a long day for us and our weak ash front 5.

It's very simple, if Atlanta wins the game it wont be because Cousins played great it will be because Dak didn't. Their D has had as many points scored against them as ours has. So if Dak and our offense sputters and cant make this a shoot out/ who has the ball last type game it's all on them.

Other teams say the same thing about Dak. Pressure him and deer in the headlights.

He won't need to have a career day. From what I have been reading the Falcons have a pretty good run game, and that's a death blow to the Cowboys defense
