We're too worried about Dak being the game manager and managing the game so he doesn't throw any INT's, what kind of offensive game plan is this? You can't go out here scared, nervous, and worried on every play on what your QB will do. If you're that worried, someone needs to be in his ears after every drive, and not act like they're scared to address issues to him. No more friendship, no more being scared, this offense is in shambles because of the fear of turnovers! Please give your thoughts

It's one or the other extreme. Last year's aggressive mantra resulted in more scoring but ultimately too many untimely picks by the QB.

This year's horizontal dink and dunk crap fest is the other end of the conservative spectrum extreme.

The problem is that McCarthy is clueless at how to find an effective middle ground while also being limited with what he has to work with at QB.

Game set and match.
Come on deee fense.

Too much trouble it seems . . . Why is He the QB again? This sounds like madness for someone earning that contract

If we changed a few things up. And use some dang motion. Run out of shot gun sometimes. Throw from under center. Dak needs to tuck and run when he has a lane and nothing is open.. And Defense play smarter quit keeping drives alive with dumb penalties.

I'm an equal opportunity hater.
I think the GM, HC and QB all suck at their jobs.

But I TRY my best to continue supporting that Cowboy uniform I've supported for about 50 years and counting now.

Putting the blame on someone is not "Hating" it is putting blame where it belongs

It is the QB at this point . . . sadly the Team and Head Coach are limited in what they can do with Dak

I blame the GM because it is Him who keeps the QB in position

MM and JJ BOTH doubled down this week on "We are a defensive team, our offense will continue to TOP and not turn the ball over (yeah he said that) and lean on the strangth of the team which is defense" ...

I'm not saying the OP is wrong, but what do you do? When Dak is in the zone it's often a non issue. It's clear that when Dak isnt comfortable though things go south hard and fast. The Cowboys at times played very aggressively Sunday night, there was just zero execution. First drive of the game you had a run to Pollard....A bad miss to a TE that had some room down the field....then a poor throw by Dak, but in his defense no one was open except the check down which on 3rd and 9 doesnt do you too much good.

The Cowboys have the players to be aggressive and take shots down the field, but you also have to take those shots when it makes sense and be able to put yourselves in position to take those shots. You can't get 1-2 yard pick ups on first down in this offense. You've got to hit on that 2nd down play when it's right there, and when you get to 3rd and long you're almost screwed because of the roster construction as they don't have that alpha-type receiver who is either going to go get the ball despite being covered or catch it short and fight for the extra 1-2 yards.

Much like how we talk about the defense has to stop the run early to be able to pin their ears back and be that fearless pass rush team on 2nd/3rd and long the offense has the ability to play vertically but they have to earn it on 1st down to set up the play action and forcing the defense to get out of those constant soft zone coverages.

MM was saying this game they actually had favorable 3rd down and go yardage but missed more on 3rd than they had all year... Ill have to go back and watch again to see..didnt sound right but maybe it was alot of 3rd and 5 or less and we just couldnt convert.
